Aubrey Kate, you have a great job...

You know the answer to this one!

Whenever you ask if you have a job, like Daddy has a job, we tell you, "Your job is to be a kid and play!"  We've told you that enough now you tell us that's your job.

And you can tell me my job is to take care of you, Rhys and Daddy.

Girly, we have the best jobs in the whole world.

Everyone has a job to do.  Responsibilities.  Tasks.  Chores.

A purpose.

We live in a world full of people searching for their purpose.  Hunting for the illusive "work-life balance."  Strapped to our smart phones, living in "relationships" through social media, posting pictures of perfection.

There are lots of sound bites telling us how to find our purpose.  Selling us their brand of "this is how you will matter in the world."  Physical perfection, pursuit of wealth, starving artists standing up to "the man," fear of world collapse...and on and on and on.

Sweet Girl, we do not have to listen to them.  We don't even have to go on a search for our purpose.

Because we are God's creation and He already designed a purpose, a job, for each of us before He hung one single star in the sky.

Yes m'am!  You had a job to do in this world before God spoke the world into existence!

The adventure will be watching how God puts all the pieces of you into His plan!  Your beauty, your talents, your sweet spirit and your servant's heart will be exactly what you need to be the amazing woman of God He planned for you to be.

Your purpose, your job, your identity is in Christ.

I pray you will believe that truth for yourself one day.  Believe that you are called and chosen by your Heavenly Father.  Oh the worry, stress and sleepless nights you will avoid!  That is my prayer for you.

With this truth, your "job" will always be as simple as, "Be a kid and play!"  Oh how He loves us, Aubrey Kate!

"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless
in His sight."  ~ Ephesians 1:4

"...being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."  ~ Philippians 1:6

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" ~ Jeremiah 29:11
