Dear Aubrey Kate, 

You are so lovely!  

What a wonderful, blessed year it has been!  You, Sweet Girl, have grown so much.  Sometimes I can hardly believe how quickly you have gone from baby to big girl.  Three short years from crying to, "That would be splendid, Momma!"  Whew.  

Bright and caring, helpful and beautiful, sensitive and giving, funny and creative.  You bless us every day.

All week, I've been writing you letters.  Messages about yourself and your identity as God's child.  But the most important message, the truth we pray you feel deeply, is that you are loved.  

So loved.

I adore hearing you repeat back to me lessons we are teaching.  

"God loves me the most, right Momma?  More than you and Daddy and Meme and Buddy and Nana and Puddin'!  Right, Momma?"  

Yes, precious child.  God loves you the most.  An exquisite, lavish, undeserved, radical love. 

And my constant prayer is for you to believe that truth.  Grasp it with passion, guard it with the reading of God's word, rejoice in it as absolute freedom and boldly share it with everyone God places in your life.  

We are filled with joy praying over your precious life and how God will use you for His glory!

Aubrey Kate, we love you.  You are God's creation and we are every day grateful for you. You are an answer to countless prayers and worth every second we waited.  We look at your lovely face and are in awe of how God loves us.
