It's Just 2 More So Why Do I Feel 200% Better?

I have to say, I am down with Saturday appointments with my RE. Dr. does them all himself and he spends time just talking us through where we are. We love our nurses but there's nothing like quality time with our doctor.

This is the first time we've seen him since we started this round of IVF. He asked us how we're doing and of course, we said fine with a shoulder shrug. He said, You've lost a little of that excitement you had last time. I agreed since once you fail that blind hope most definitely disappears. He understands. It took him and his wife 3 times, once with NO EGGS retrieved, before they had their little girl. There is really no substitute for having an RE who has been there

Anyway, then came the poking. God love him, I know he's trying to be gentle but ouch. Just ouch.

The verdict today is:

Rita - 7 (and a tiny extra one)
Lulu - 4
Lining - 8.2

No E2 results today. They only call with those if there's something bizarre going on.

So that's 11 total and they are all growing! Dr. K says we are doing really well. Says my ovaries look great and he's very pleased with how things are progressing. I'm happy with that.

We're adding ganerilex tonight. He thinks we'll stim 11 days so retrieval would likely be Friday. He's okay with that so we're okay with that.

He hugged me, our nurse gave us some home-grown tomatoes and we headed out for the day.

My brain is telling me, Hey, that's just TWO more follies than 2 days ago but my heart is telling me this is an answer to prayer. And it is! We prayed for more and we got them. Praise the Lord!

"For great is your love, reaching to the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies." ~ Psalms 57:10

  2. Are you going to make a batch of chocolate chip organic cookies to celebrate? Or, just join the pool party next door tonight in celebration.
