We're done! I am now the proud mommy of two excellent blastocysts. One of them was even hatching! That's pretty outstanding. Glen actually said, you make great eggs and great embryos. Seriously? What a difference 4 months makes! He graded both of them AB and says he's pretty picky. I'm fine with that. It was like an out of body experience listening to Michele, Dr. K and Glen all talking about a "slam dunk" and how they can't wait to meet the twins.
Of course, the whole out of body thing could have been because I was pretty darn drunk.
I took my Valium about an hour before we go the doctor's office. About 15 minutes later, I was silly drunk. My head was heavy. I kept thinking about that little kid saying "Did you know the human head weighs 8 pounds?" My legs didn't really want to work. Things looked a little fuzzy. And whoa, Chris is sooooo cute. I about couldn't change clothes because I was laughing too hard. There's really nothing funny about stripping down to put on a yellow hospital gown. Chris also found me humorous and the nurses suggested he get me on video.
I am happy to report there is no video. But that scene from Sixteen Candles where the sister is walking down the aisle comes pretty close.
Looking forward to God's newest blessings with you. We're still praying. Love y'all.

I've always been partial to the name Elizabeth for a girl...nice Old and New Testament name. I'm just sayin!
