Several of these wonderful women have had serious disappointments recently. My heart breaks for them. I cry when I read their news. I continue to cry with them as their hearts heal. And still, Chris and I talk about their life and their struggle. We are in awe of their strength.
And completely humbled.
We look at each other and ask why us? We certainly do not deserve not one single miracle we’ve seen through our IVF 2.5 journey. We are very literally over-whelmed with gratitude for how the Lord has blessed this process. I can’t thank my Lord enough. I can’t pray for these amazing women enough.
So today, as I have been feeling since these two beautiful embryos were transferred, I am humbly grateful for :
1. The women who have loved, prayed and encouraged us through this journey. Ladies, You. Are. Loved.
2. Our two little miracles Hope and Glory (my dad named them). The top one, Glory, is a hatching blastocyst. She’s our rock star.
3. My husband who has taken on the housework and cooking duties while I put my feet up.
4. Our amazing friends and family who have called, texted and emailed to check on us and pass along their prayers.
5. Our gracious Lord who loves us and blesses us in spite of who we are and how often we fail Him.
We are still a while away from knowing if this will result in a pregnancy. We are doing our best to wait patiently. I love knowing our little miracles are safe with me and that’s enough for now. If you see me, you might notice I’m moving slowly and maybe, possibly doing a little waddling like I’m 25 months pregnant. It’s so pathetic, I realize. But I don’t care. I am praising Him for all the miracles He’s given us already.
And continuing to pray for miracles for my dear friends.
Beautiful babies!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope and Glory are simply BEAUTIFUL!! Congrats to you and Chris!!
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for you and your encouragement along the way. We are still holding on to hope and knowing that with God, anything is possible!
Robin, you are amazing. Those precious little blasts are the luckiest future babies ever! You are a blessing to me and I'm so very thankful for you!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful babies!
ReplyDeleteJust one correction. My nicknames were Glory and Honor. That way when we dedicate them we will give Glory and Honor to God. When we take them to church we can bring Honor and Glory to God.
ReplyDeleteHope and Glory are good too.
Love you
