We had a lovely weekend of football, food and family. Saturday started off well with another Auburn victory. It was better than last week but I’m still waiting for the wow factor to kick in. Then came the OU game. I missed the first minute and 42 seconds of the game meaning I also missed the first touchdown. A friend from OKC, Ms. Skinny, sent me this photo from the game with the message “Thinking of you”.

I loved it. I liked the photo too but the message meant so much. I watched almost every second of the OU game until the last quarter when it looked like they were putting it away. Then off to grocery shopping! Chris put in our new drawer pulls in the bathrooms and did the yard.
Leanna, Kyle, Vivi and Lexi got to our place late Saturday night. We ate and visited before we all headed to bed tuckered out. Although a rough day of college football really pales in comparison to driving 800 + miles in one day. They stayed for a nice brunch this morning before getting back on the road for another 600 or so miles today. Seriously, they are just a gorgeous family. And with baby #2 on the way, they may push the beautiful quotan so far we won't be able to stare at them directly for more than a few seconds. We’re so glad they were able to stay with us! We don't get to see them often enough.
Enjoy the pictures and hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
