Know what doesn't sell a house?...

Functional indoor plumbing.

That's a reasonable expectation when house hunting.

Know what home owner's insurance doesn't cover?  Non-functional indoor plumbing.

It would have covered the damage caused should the faulty plumbing have, say, flooded the house.

But not to fix it.

It's expected to work.

Thus we have invested $9 million into the house with zero expectation of getting that back when we sell the house.  Someday.

In general, I am not a fan of doing anything to the house that doesn't increase the resale value.

Unfortunately, I am also not a fan of driving to the grocery store every time one of the three potty trained humans needs to use the bathroom.

So there are still, STILL, a zillion posts to write.  And one day, oh glorious day, I will find a way to write them.

I will also have to find some way to earn the $9 million it cost us to fix the plumbing.

Know of anyone who wants to pay me to write those zillion blog posts?

Gigantic hole in our master bedroom to fix plumbing...

Horrible flange causing all the not working of plumbing...

Dust created from the drilling through our foundation to retrieve evil flange...
