Gratitude: Meme and Buddy...

Chris' parents were in town this weekend to...

A)  Play with grandbabies

B)  Keep me from going insane while Chris was out of town

I believe they accomplished both goals.

Being the kind and caring person I am, my goal was to give them as much alone time with the grandbabies as possible.  

Sainthood.  My next stop.

So I had a list of tasks to tackle and thankfully, hit them all but one which was a haircut.

And as I was telling Chris all the gory details about my excursions, I realized I am not entirely sure why I didn't get my haircut.  There was time.  I just didn't go it.

Maybe I can schedule something while we're at home in December.  

Buddy actually asked me how much gas was in my car since he knew a SAHM of two small kids, free babysitting and a full gas tank might just equal my disappearance.  

Don't think I didn't consider it.  

All kidding aside, they are wonderful grandparents.  Buddy took AK to the park...twice...on the same day.  They got down on the floor to play puzzles, entertained a fussy 14 week old with rattles and lots of walking and changed a few diapers.  

Aubrey Kate adores them.  The first thing she said to me this morning was "Where are Meme and Buddy?"

Tomorrow morning will not go well when I have to remind her they are safely back in Alabama.
