Had forgotten what 4:00 am looks like...

Cold + baby hiccups = Me, awake, at 4:00 am.

I woke up around 3:30 am, which is pretty normal, but couldn't go back to sleep.  I can't breathe.  And it doesn't take Rhys long to realize Mommy is awake before he decides to get up too.  Minus the cold, I can generally will him back to sleep if I stay very, very still.  But not with a cold.  

And then my tummy joined in on the party.

So I just decided to get up, eat a little something and watch some news.

Yes, I am totally dreading the toddler waking up in an hour.

The likelihood of a nap during a morning episode of Elmo has gone up drastically.

Check out the "Our Nest" tab.  I threw some pictures in there of our living/kitchen/dining/entry way.  

I'm hopeful we'll have Aubrey Kate's big girl room ready this week.  She's still in her crib.  Knock on wood, she doesn't try to climb out.  She will eventually but until then, she'll stay right where she is.  If we reach kindergarten and she's still in there, we might give some thought to moving up.  

Might.

Then we can move on to Rhys' room.  I've almost finished crafting for his room.  I still need one large frame for a printable I found.  There are some throw pillows to make but I need to see the bedding before I do that.  

Every part of my being wants to nest so it's killing me not to be closer to done.  

Seriously.

Going back to bed now.  We'll see if sleep actually happens.
