Just three months…

Little E is due to make her entrance in just three months from today.

Hello.

We had our last second trimester appointment today.

Good news. E is still a girl. I was a little worried. You just never know and we won’t really know until she makes her grand début but I feel more comfortable now.

After this one, we start going every two weeks. And considering it took us three hours to make it through today’s appointment, I may need to stock up on some reading material.

I had my one hour glucose test today. Won’t get the results until tomorrow but let me tell you, all that sugar did not make for a happy momma. I was nauseous and then when the crash hit, a little light headed. Goodness I hope I pass. Not interested in moving on up to the three hour test.

E, however, enjoyed herself thoroughly. “Woo-hoo! Thanks for the sugar Mommy! How about I show you my new tap dance routine?”

She makes me giggle.

And much to no one’s surprise but maybe my doctor, I am still completely loving feeling her.

Here’s her latest picture and this time, it’s her facing us. Can you see her face?

We’ll get one of the fancy-smancy sonograms done sometime. I need to look into scheduling that. Add that to “The List”.

Right now she’s laying cross-ways with her head up on my right side even with my belly-button and her legs down on my left. That’s where I felt her kicking the most too but occasionally she takes a jab with her fist. Those I can see really well.

After the appointment, E and I decided we’d had enough sugar and went to McDonald’s for some sodium. I think we successfully took in enough sodium for the entire rest of the week. But it was yummy!
