Beta 3 done. 2,279
Sonogram scheduled. Next week.
And I am still in shock.
Sunday we sang “How Great is Our God” and well, I lost it. Everyone was singing and all I could do was cry. How can I even begin to thank Him for giving me the one thing I’ve been praying for all these years? I could spend every waking hour praising Him and thanking Him and it would never come close to being enough.
I know we have a long way to go. 34 weeks and a handful of days. But regardless of what happens, I am going to be grateful for today. Grateful that today, just today, we still have a little one growing. Grateful that a little piece of me and a little piece of Chris might someday turn into a child of our own. A child we will hold, laugh with, watch grow and stand in awe of just how great our God truly is.
And then I’m gonna pray that much harder for all the women I love waiting for their miracles.

ReplyDeleteWith the talent you have with exponential number growth, can you work on my 401/101K?

Love you girl!! That is an AMAZING beta and I can't fathom how great our God really is... you are proof!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat hymn still gets me every time we sing it at church. But I remember the first time after we found out and I did the same thing - just messy tears because our God is just so Great!
ReplyDeleteYeah, God is always good, all the time! I'm praying always! Can't wait to see a picture. Love, Mom :)
ReplyDeleteYes, that song is one of my favorites and I get teary eyed trying to fathom how truly great he is. I'm with your friend that says you are truly deserving. You are a good and faithful servant and will be the best mother because of your love for our heavenly father. I can't wait to see the sonogram!
ReplyDeleteWe are so excited to have new great neices/nephews! Can't wait to meet sweet ones if only on the "big screen" for awhile longer. Love y'all.
