Heartbeat...

Seriously, I will never get tired of seeing E's little heartbeat. E was at 150 b/m today which is pretty much perfect. But really, what else would you expect. It's hard to see in the video and don't bother turning the volume up - there's no sound. I just know Nana might explode if I didn't post a picture of her newest grandchild. Well, that and it is way cool.

Doctor says I'm cleared to exercise. He even said I should be exercising. Thanks, don't mind if I do.

I am also cleared to fly. If you could see me, I'd be sticking my tongue out at you but since you can't, just go ahead and imagine it. Look, I'm not saying we're absolutely going to fly but it's nice to know I'm not grounded from the coolest 90th birthday party ever.

We go back in two more weeks and then I graduate to my regular OB. It'll be kind of sad to leave Dr. K and the nurses. They are fabulous. Although I really like my OB too. I told him last time I was there and the waiting room was covered with pregnant bellies and newborns that he needed a "fertile" side of the waiting room and an "infertile" side. They do that at pediatricians offices. "Well" and "sick" so the kids don't catch each other's germs (and, seriously, how well does that really work). Anyway, he agreed with me so we'll see if he's implemented my suggested changes.

Regardless, when I start to show, I'm wearing a tee-shirt to every appointment that says "IVF baby" in case there's another infertile in the room who needs a little encouragement of the tee-shirt variety.
