The Big One (aka "Look Ma, I caught a fish")…

This weekend, we spent most of our time out on my boss’ ranch hosting two picnics. One Saturday and one Sunday.

They each had about 60 people attending.

Some folks tried to learn how to rope a hay bale wearing some horns.

Some tried to drive a golf cart obstacle course blind-folded while the passenger gave instructions.

Some folks visited with the donkeys.

Some kids swam while the adults tried to pretend they were okay sweating like pigs instead of diving in because, hey, we are adults and think too much of our selves to embarrass each other by wearing swimsuits. In public. Around people we work with. Every. Single. Day.

Some people spent the majority of their time fishing. And made sure to have a photo taken of their catch as proof.

Some people spent day two locked indoors thanks to a ginormas allergy attack brought on by the lawn, donkeys, cattle, hay bales and heat. Lots and lots of heat. There are no pictures of that. Largely because it was gross and I didn't feel like taking a picture of myself to document that kind of fun.
