Good news. I'm still alive.
We've had the plague around here. Mine is lasting longer than everyone else's. Which is pretty much the norm. So scrapbooking has stalled. Reading got started and then got stopped. But...good news...binge watching of The West Wing has continued.
Yeah, I managed to fight on through and WATCH TV.
How proud my mother is right at this moment.
Chris has been super de-duper awesome. He's been working AND helping. Especially in the poopy diaper changing department. I think Rhys has gained approximately 26 pounds this week alone. And I just don't have the strength to fight him over changing his diaper. He's too strong. But it's sure been good of him to poop just before lunch and just before dinner. Such a good little helper.
But today has been on my schedule for MONTHS. Aunt Linda (Super Woman) and Aunt Lori (Mrs. Skinny) came down for a visit. Yay! I don't listen to country music but I keep my ear open for their favorite acts coming to town. Then I can harass them into stopping by on their way to see Blake. Or Kenny.
They are good for my soul.
Few women are stronger. Few women are kinder. Few women are more uplifting.
Good for my soul.
And they come with interesting OKC "information."
Watching them play with my kids reminds me how much fun it is to play with my kids. You'd think I wouldn't forget that what with them sleeping in the next rooms and all. But I do.
The kids are especially entertaining with new playmates.
I'm not new. So they lose some of their shine with me.
Thank you, ladies, for being a part of my life! And loving my kids!
So glad you are feeling better. Thank you Chris for your super help.
