Aubrey Kate is in the middle of her dinosaur studies at school. For the most part, she has been less than impressed.
"I don't like dinosaurs."
"Oh yeah, why's that?"
"Um, because they're scary!"
"True. But doesn't that make them at least interesting?"
"Um, NO. Not to me!"
End of discussion.
She has enjoyed coloring all those scary dinosaurs various shades of pink. That part she enjoys.
Tonight, she asked if we could pray a new prayer to God.
Of course!
"Dear God, thank you for the dinosaurs. And thank you for not putting me alive with them. We love you! Amen!"
Really, is there anything to add to that?
Thank you, Lord, for the sweet prayers of four year olds. And their Super Hero little brothers.
