36 Weeks...

Welcome to the "Baby could come anytime" portion of our pregnancy!

Somehow June flew by like lightening fast.  And so here we are.

Overall, I feel okay.  I'm not sleeping well, my back gets tired pretty easily, my belly aches a good deal by the end of the day and I'm hot.

So very hot.

Honestly, I think the belly hurts because he's head down now.  I don't remember that at all with Aubrey Kate.  I couldn't breathe with her though since her head was on my lungs.  

The Braxton Hicks are still pretty consistent.  Every night.  They come during the day now too.  I upped my water intake to close to 100 oz. a day but it doesn't seemed to have helped.  At least not the BH's.  

It has, however, helped the swelling.  Still can't wear my wedding rings but it's not gotten any worse.  By the end of the day, it's almost gone entirely in my hands.  

Whoo-hoo!

Rhys is still very healthy.  All his internal organs are functioning perfectly.  He's an active little guy too.  With an ultrasound every week, I get to see him a lot.  

And I feel I should tell you he has huge feet.  The ultrasound tech laughed out loud at them yesterday.  I thought they were fabulous even though they have likely done permanent damage to my bladder.  

Other than that, we are just working the list trying to get ready for Rhys' arrival.  Whenever that may be.

The nursery is almost done.  Just waiting on the crib mattress to come in.

Aubrey Kate seems to really be getting ready for his arrival too.  She talks about him a lot.  Talks about getting her picture made with Rhys.  Wants to sit in my lap "With Rhys".  Reminds us his car seat will be next to hers.  And she's gotten a little snuggly the past few days.

Sweet girl.

Unfortunately, my lap has grown a bit so there's not much room for her.  But I treasure the snuggles!

The only picture I have as a comparison from last time is a group shot at my dear friend's baby shower. This was 37 weeks.  

Good news though.  I do have a picture of 38 weeks!  It was Easter so we actually took pictures.
