28 Weeks...

Welcome, Third Trimester!!!

Can hardly believe we're that far along.  This is moving fast.

Passed the glucose test.  And good news, I'm not anemic.  My iron levels fell just inside the normal range.

On triple the recommended dose of iron.

Yay for self-diagnosis!

Baby boy is great!  Everything looked fabulous at today's ultrasound.  He's 2.14 lbs now which is in the 72nd percentile.  So he's big, and has been big the whole time, but he's slightly less big than a month ago.  Which is totally fine.  Not worried about that at all.

He's still transverse.  Little head is on my right side and bum is over on the left.  I feel his kicks at around the same spot most of the time so I suspect he's staying put a little bit more these days.  Definitely feeling more pushing and stretching than just kicking.

We've also started getting hiccups.  Aubrey Kate had them all the time.  Looks like Little Man will be the same way.

Got to see him in 3D today!  He had his hands, and feet, all over his face so we didn't get a good picture of him though.  His little nose looks more like mine now, I think.  At least in today's viewing.  Cannot wait to meet him and see his precious face!

That's where I am most.  Just daydreaming about our son.  How he will be different from his sister.  How he might be the same.  I can't help but think about my nephews who look nothing alike.  Noah is more his mom's side of the family and Miller is more his dad's side.  Will these two be that way or will we have two carbon copies of Chris?

Will he like cars?  Or trains?  Or sports?  Will he be a constant ball of motion or more calm like his sister?

Oh, I am just so excited to meet him and watch him grow!  What a joy!!!

As for me, I feel pretty great.  With the exception of still being horribly allergic to spring.  I broke down and started taking Claritin but honestly, I can only tell a slight improvement.  We ate outside yesterday and I spent the next two hours sick as a dog.  We only go outside every other day.  So today is a play indoors day.  Tomorrow we'll go to the park and I'll suffer through the two hours of runny nose and watery eyes.

All those allergy attacks also mean no contacts.  After a particularly bad day of itching watery eyes, I woke up the next morning with a rather painful left eye.  I decided it wasn't worth doing damage to them.  So glasses it is.

Other than that, I'm peachy.  Much better than with Aubrey Kate.  I still attribute that to not having to sit in a chair ten hours a day.  Having to buy a few items of clothing along the way now.  It's hot so tank tops are my friends.  Couldn't wear those to work last time though.  I'll have lots to sell after this pregnancy is over!  A whole year's worth of clothes.

Oh!  And not swollen so far either.  I had two days after we ate some Fuzzy's chips and queso of not being able to wear my rings but that's been it.  Fully aware it will happen but very happy to delay that for as long as possible.

Now for pictures!  The first is Baby Boy's sweet face.  He's looking at us.  With his hands up by his face.  We got a similar picture of Aubrey Kate around this time.  I love their little sonogram faces.  Aubrey Kate sees the sonogram photos on the side of the refrigerator and says "Brother!"  Really, it doesn't get much cuter than that.

And this very sad looking picture is me.  Admittedly, I am very tired today.  Sleep = not really happening.  I got a big ole soda on the way home from the doctor this morning.  Can't even imagine what I would feel like without it because honestly, I could fall asleep just sitting here.  Even BB seems tired today.  Not a whole lot of kickin' going on.  See y'all with another update in two weeks!
