Keeping it real moment of the day: I have just eaten half a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.
And although in no way does gluten-free = healthy, that hasn't stopped me from diving in. Also literally.
Yes, it is going to take me nine years to lose this pregnancy weight. And yes, I will regret eating this bag the entire nine years. And yet, I eat.
Sigh.
But that's not the important thing I have to discuss today. I know, I can't believe I just used the word "important". Because let's face it, there's very little about this blog that's important.
The good news is the important stuff has nothing to do with me and everything to do with a sweet blogger, Sarah.
All five of you who read my blog often might remember her from this post. Her precious daughter Audrey was fighting for her life and I came out of the blog stalking closet to ask for prayers. Audrey is doing well and heavens is she ever adorable.
Well, now God has called Sarah to a new mission.
He has called her to lead a daily devotional blog. You can read more about it here.
Her first devotional (today) alone is wonderful. These words hit hard...
"Christians are notorious for eating their own. It's no wonder so many want nothing to do with this Jesus man we claim to believe in and love."
I know someone right now, and I know you do too, who feels like they've been eaten alive by Christians.
Sarah has been down a miraculous journey and I have grown just reading along with her honesty and openness.
So you will notice a new addition to the side of my blog. I've never linked blogs on mine largely because I like simplicity. I kinda feel the way about my blog as I do about my kitchen counters. The less on them, the better.
However, I've been praying about this and straight up, it just felt silly to even do that. Because hello, I adore Sarah and if God has called her to this ministry, then I want to support her and the work He will be doing for His kingdom through her. I hope y'all will take a moment to read her story and maybe follow along. I suspect it will be life-changing.
Much love, Sarah!
Robin!!! Thank you!! Oh my goodness!! You'll never know how much this means to me! Thank you, thank you, thank you for loving and supporting me!!!!! I'm really speechless!
