The weather tonight was just awful. Raining cats and dogs. Hard enough for Chris to slow down to about 30 miles an hour.
Baby was not at all happy about being in the car today.
Not. Happy.
Somehow the logical argument that no matter how much she cried, she was not getting out the chair wasn't working.
Go figure.
But regardless, we are safe, warm and dry in our half-way point hotel. We ate leftovers my mom packed for us, watched a little "boopfall" and then put Pumpkin down for bed. She didn't fight it.
We are tired and ready to be home but blessed to be warm and dry for the night.
Tomorrow's a new day.

Sorry, chica that I have not been checking in with you. Thought about you several times over the Christmas holiday. Lots of drama with our house in San Antonio and I'm just wiped out, but so very thankful for the love and support of family and friends and for the Love & Grace of the King of the Universe! Would like so much to see you soon. Working on a trip to OKC in the mid to latter part of January. Would like to stop off to see you and Pumpkin on the way. Will talk/write soon. Many hugs!
