You are a true blessing. A miracle life. Each night, my prayer of gratitude and praise to the Lord is for one more day with you. One more giggle. One more game of chase. One more story time. All of those moments are precious. All of those moments are held in my heart as treasures.
Watching you grow. Seeing your personality develop. Helping you learn about this world God has created. It is pure joy. The plans the Lord has for you are unimaginable to me. But without a doubt I know He has something amazing planned for you. My prayer for your life is that you will come to know Christ early and will seek His will in all things. I pray your love for Him will be strong. Pray you will be bold in your faith. Pray that He will use your miracle life to bring glory to His name and bring people to Him.
As your mom, I pray for wisdom to guide you towards Him. I pray for strength because I know for Him to make you strong, I will need to allow you to be weak. I pray that He will continue to help me fall further in love with your dad and that through our love for both Christ and each other, you will feel safe and grow to be a confident, kind and loving person.
But I also pray that should you do wrong, you will be caught. Sorry, kiddo but that's my job.
Sweet girl, we have loved soaking up every moment of your life. You are so very loved.

ReplyDeleteThis makes me tear up watching her little slideshow. Only because I know what mommy, baby, and mommy & daddy together had to go through within a year good and bad to celebrate this special day. So take a deep breath, because here goes round two....year number 2 lol
