Myself, I am not talented.
Thankfully, I know people who are very talented. And they're excellent to have around when planning a first birthday party.
My SIL, Carrie, made this unbelievably gorgeous birthday banner. I sent her some very bad blackberry photos of the paper I used on the candles and she sent me back this.

Except for the baby. She's mine. But that picture would not be nearly as cute without that banner. It is so precious! I will be packing it up very gently to be used for many years to come. Or until Pumpkin decides she wants a banner with Cinderella's picture all over it.
Thank you Carrie!
She's got an Etsy paper shop coming soon. Be on the lookout!
The second person is my wonderful friend Mrs. Eartha. And I use "friend" lightly because she's really family. She came to our little family party and took the most amazing pictures.

And when I texted her to tell her just how awesomely fabulous they were, she says, Oh I didn't even edit them so if you have some favs, let me know.
Seriously.
Besides the fact that I wanted to jump straight into the photos to snuggle my beautiful daughter, they are all my favs. And I doubt she wants to edit 155 photos. I love her eye. I knew she would take my decorations and make them look way better. There's not much you can do with scrapbook paper, ribbon and eggs but holy cow does Mrs. Eartha make them look like they were almost professionally cute.
If you are in Texas or OKC, check her out for your next photo session. She's running a spring mini-session special. And if you come to have one, I've got an empty room you can stay in...
Just saying.
I'll have another post on the decor. Largely because I worked like a stinkin' dog to get it done. But also because Mrs. Eartha and Carrie made the party waaaayyyyy better than all that work. Thanks ladies!

I am so glad you liked it! I was so stressed. Happy Birthday my sweet Aubrey Kate! Sad we couldn't be there!
