This entire weekend seemed to be one memory making event after another.
Friday night, all three of us sat on the floor singing Beatles Rock Band. We even gave Aubrey Kate a mic and I swear, she knew exactly what to do. She held it and started babbling away.
Fortunately, we have no video of this event because I was singing "Come Together" and flat out, I am not cool enough to pull that off.
Unfortunately, this also means that glorious memory will be forever in our hearts instead of on the blog.
Saturday morning, Aubrey Kate and I went to Target for Dr. Seuss Story Time. About 20 kiddos and their parents sat in the little food court listening to three Dr. Seuss books. Pretty sure Pumpkin got nothing out of the experience since we couldn't hear the reader over the hum of the drink machines and ice makers but I did. I loved holding my miracle daughter at story time. There was a time I wasn't at all sure that would happen so this was precious.
Check out her Cat in the Hat pants. Oh yeah. It's a theme wardrobe day.

For some reason, I have not posted a video of Aubrey Kate doing her version of crawling. It's so not true crawling but girly gets where she wants to go. She's doing a lot of standing these days and has started walking holding on to furniture. Or the potty and bathtub. No lie, she is fascinated by the potty. We've had a few near misses of her reaching in to pull something out.
You're welcome.
I decided it was time to get her scootin' on video. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. We are soaking up as much of these moments as possible because soon she'll be walking and this will be another precious memory.
Saturday night she decided to use the mattress waiting by the door for donation pickup as a tunnel. So ridiculously adorable! I did my best to cut out the dead time but I didn't want ya'll to miss the sweet moments of my amazing husband making our fabulous daughter giggle.
I know. Enough with the adjectives. But...I love them. They are my world.
Oh, and yes, we are getting rid of our true guest room. More to come on that later.
Enjoy our boot-scootin' girl!

Oh goondess! I have NEVER seen a baby move like that :) What a rockstar...and for the record, I REALLY woud have enjoyed a video of the Beatles fun...!
ReplyDeleteKind of a hybrid crawl, though looked like the tunnel almost made her crawl normally. Buddy.
ReplyDeleteShe is super fast! So cute.
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough of that. I just keep hitting replay. That was so precious! I love the way she reaches up for Chris at the end. I really see some hair too. Love you baby girl!
ReplyDeleteLove, Nana
