Two days of sickness and two snow days makes for really bad TV...

Pumpkin, we think, is feeling better. She's refusing to nap.

Now that's my kid.

No more fever but the snottiness is still there. Good times.

The best news is that I am now sick. Seriously. How in the world she felt well enough to play and crawl around yesterday, I have not a stinkin' clue! I feel like road kill.

How's that for a visual?

In my defense, I must tell you that I am locked in my bedroom forced to watch really, really, seriously bad TV.

Did ya'll know CMT has a show about weddings?

"My Big Redneck Wedding"

No lie.

There are not enough adjectives to describe the classiness of this programming. This particular couple is getting married in a big mud hole called a "Bog". The bride made the cake at home and lost her bandaid in the process. One of the guests found it later and they promised her if it didn't have blood on it, it was fine.

How reassuring.

Check out these vows. They are priceless.

"I promise to let you go huntin' every now and again
As long you come home for a year before you do it again.
We met back in seventh grade
We didn't use a condom and this is what we made
(Pointing to baby she's wearing in one of those front loading harness things)
His name is Cade.
We are happy now and all is good
Glad we live here and not in the hood
This is our day and I wanna make you proud
Even though you're obnoxious and very loud.
Love you."

I bet you are feeling like I am.

Man, why didn't I think of those for my wedding?

All that quoting of scripture stuff can't hold a candle to that.

Yeah, I know. I think the fever is making me a little crazy. That and the fact that I'm listening to Chris and Aubrey Kate playing in the living room while I am stuck in here blowing my nose every three minutes.

Maybe I shouldn't write anymore because I'm likely to tell you about how annoying I find "A Baby Story" on TLC. I mean honestly, how is it that everyone that put on that show is pregnant by surprise? How?
