Ask and ye shall receive...

My sweet cousin Kimber asked for proof. In photo form.

Proof of what I'm not 100% sure because there was quite a list of things in last week's one lone post. Proof of the dead pig? Proof of the horses on video? Proof of all the events? Proof of my weight loss?

So I decided to go ahead and prove it all. Well, most of it. Like 75%. Because I have no video of the horses (which Fanny apparently doesn't like and I feel perhaps I shouldn't test that statement with her) and some of it I don't have pictures of. For instance the board meeting. It was just a meeting. 30 ppl or so. Eating. Sitting in a room. Looking at what I can only assume was a ridiculously boring powerpoint presentation. Took me all of about 10 minutes to arrange the whole thing. I spent more time smiling and greeting folks as they came to the meeting than actually planning it.

Board meetings are boring.

The rest though do have pictures.

I'll do some commentary because even I might get a little lost with all these events and I was there live and in person.

Luau. Hula dancers. How do they do that hip thing?

Piggy. Goodbye. You were loved.

Thursday night reception set up.

Side two of the lobby.

Line out the door. Forty-five minutes before the scheduled start time of the party. Yes. 45 minutes. 45 minutes. When you send the guest of honor an email that says "Unfashionably Early - please valet since the parking lot is already full" you know it's going to be a long night.

Food set up. Broke diet. Yum. Cheese.

My boss, me, our assistant and one of my receptionists.

I have two comments to make about this photo. One, I make it a policy to never take pictures next to my assistant because really, she could be a model. Perfect hair, perfect teeth, looks fabulous in a pencil skirt, legs 12 miles long and able to hold an unbelievably natural-looking fake tan. However, the boss said turn and smile, so I did. The second comment is about Receptionist Touchy there. Her Love Language is so Physical Touch. She loves hugs. Loves them. Me, not so much. Can you see how she's leaning into Miss Perfect? Heaven help me. I promise I am really trying to be a hugger at the office but it is a struggle.

Town Hall meeting on Friday. 300 or so folks packed in. Great meeting.

Me and the speaker. Likely, I'm listening to him ask me something or other that I probably didn't know the answer to. I'm good at that. And he's an excellent question asker.

Hello people.

OU/TX Tailgate set up inside. We had food and tables outside but some inside too. Some people don't like to have their hair blown or be in the sun. I don't get along with those people but they do exist.

Tables outside because good gracious it was gorgeous!

OU tailgate decorations. There were TX ones too but I'm not showing those. Boomer!

Well, there you have it. My week in picture format. Hope you enjoyed it. If not, so sorry. I'll hug you if it'll make you feel better. Just maybe not at the office.
