Reading...

Chris snapped these pictures while I was reading Chicka Chicka ABC.

We're trying to do a better job of reading to Pumpkin. She knows it's time to go to bed after her bath and she doesn't like to sit down with me. She gets fussy, I guess because she thinks I'm trying to calm her down for sleep. Which I am. She's on to me.

Anyway, she's okay as long as we're standing. So that's what I do. Stand and read. Then we say our prayers, I put her down and she cries. Such sweet moments.

Certainly grateful this is really the only time of day when she's geniunely fussy. One day, I hope this will be a special time for us. But for now, I'll treasure these sweet pictures.
