Alright. So it’s AI time again. Praise be. My Wednesdays were just so boring.
My Tuesdays are not. Biggest Loser is also on Tuesday nights. As is Chris’ other TV obsession (other than 24), NCIS. Our DVR may revolt at any moment.
Tuesday nights is also our Ladies Bible study. Meaning I miss AI and BL so Thursday night is now BL night in my house.
Except for lately because there’s some sort of international athletic competition going on in place of the real life adversities and challenges the athletes on BL are experiencing.
Apart from that craziness of speed skating, we don’t watch a whole lot of the winter games. It all seems to basically be absolute insanity, and possibly a bit of a death wish. There’s a mountain. And I think I’d like to ski down it and then jump off. For fun. Really?
I think I get enough of an adrenaline rush during my commute home. Oh and you’d forgotten all about Merge of Death 1 and Merge of Death 2. See. I’m totally a thrill seeker.
Anyway, my point about AI, and yes there is one, is that all the Big Mike stuff completely ruined the drama of the three rooms selection process last week for me. Here he sits in this room and unless you’ve been living under the proverbial AI rock, everyone knows Mike makes the final 24.
Now we’ve moved on to the live performances and the viewer voting. We’ll have to see. No feelings at all about the ladies although I really like Crystal. She’s all kinds of indie singer/songwriter and I love it. But honestly, not overly impressed with anyone last night.
On to the men. I’ve got a feeling about Casey James.
As for last season’s winner and runner-up, can I just tell you how much I am totally in love with Kris’ song? Like I could listen to it for hours at a time kind of loving it. Searching for it on every satellite station during my commute loving it.
And if I’m being honest, I find myself strangely drawn to the Screecher’s song as well. Right up until he starts actually screeching. On top of back ground vocals of him screeching. I think I could handle the one screecher but cloned versions of him is pushing it.
