Run, sucker, run!!!

On Friday Mrs. Southern Belle asked me for some songs suggestions for her workouts. Oh girl. You started something with that request. Chris was gone most of last night for his annual public performance review giving me ample time to create.

And the band received straight 1’s which is the best you can get.

Performance review…passed.

So after I cleaned the kitchen for what has to be the 12th time in 3 days (seriously, how can 2 people make a kitchen that dirty consistently), I sat down at the computer and opened the gateway to workout heaven.

ITunes.

Now, I realize once you see these playlists, you will be overcome with joy and enthusiasm. Please remember to exercise with caution. While George will get your motivation juices flowing, it’s important to take things slowly at first. Otherwise you will hurt yourself and not be able to get to the next playlist. That, my friends, would be a true tragedy.

The Jackson's - (the 2 famous ones, not those other jokers)
1. Billie Jean – MJ
2. Control – Janet (Miss Jackson if you’re nasty)
3. Smooth Criminal – MJ
4. Rhythm Nation – Janet
5. Got To Be Starting Something – MJ
6. If – Janet

Movie Magic
1. Men in Black – Will Smith
2. Crazy – Alanis Morissette
3. Perfect Day – Hoku
4. Errtime – Nelly (and others that don’t count)
5. Don’t You Forget About Me – Simple Minds
6. Suddenly I See – KT Tunstall

Ode to Sports
1. Body Rock – Moby
2. Don’t Stop Believing - Journey
3. Boom – POD
4. Champion – Queen Latifah
5. Let’s Get It Started – Black Eyed Peas
6. Livin’ on a Prayer – Bon Jovi

Whoa, we’re half way there…

Old School
1. Boom! Shake the Room – DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
2. I Ran – Flock of Seagulls
3. Freedom – George Michael
4. I Can’t Go for That – Hall & Oates
5. Love in an Elevator – Areosmith
6. Karma Chameleon – Culture Club

Pop Rocks
1. Break the Ice – Brittney
2. MM Bop – Hanson
3. Rock Your Body – Justin
4. Lose My Breath – Destiny’s Child
5. Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow – Paula Abdul
6. Wannabe – Spice Girls

That’s 5 playlists for 5 days worth of workouts and it should be about 30 minutes for each list. Some may be a little shorter, some a little longer.

Let me know when you get bored with those. I’ll make more.
